Life is about choices... Why should fitness be any different?

Dip Station

I needed to replace my old worn out dip station, so I made a trip to the sporting goods store to check out some of the latest models and see what new equipment has become available since I bought my last dip station, which is somewhere between when dinosaurs roamed the earth and cavemen starting exploring the prehistoric forests if you listen to my kids.

Just the fact that I work out is an anathema to my teenagers, and the fact that I am willing to spend money on what they so affectionately call torture devices is a hard concept to grasp for them. As an adult, I have found that regular workouts keep me healthy and feeling fit, with lots of energy to get me through the day. Energy which teenagers seem to have in abundance when they want, without ever seeing a dip station or other exercise equipment. Us grownups were not blessed with this same unnatural phenomenon, and my dip station makes my workout seem almost Like playing in a playground, the difference being that I actually have to work out on the shiny jungle gym instead of just play. The different exercises that I use my dip station for is amazing, and I have found that adding a dip belt with weight attached actually increases my workout without making me feel confined while I am using the equipment. The dip station that I finally decided on is a four in one, with a dip station, chin up bar, lunge station, and vertical sit up bar, allowing my dip station to be used as a complete home gym if necessary. Too bad all things in life aren't this easy, convenient, and flexible, or the world would be a better place for everyone in it. If you haven't tried using a dip station yet, try it, you will like it.
